Experian launches Auto4Customers
Online marketing tool helps improve the overall efficiency of automotive dealerships
Traverse City, Mich., August 8, 2001 – Experian® Automotive today announced the launch of Auto4CustomersSM, a Web-based marketing tool helping automotive dealers create profitable customer relations and build consumer loyalty campaigns. Demonstrations are available at the Experian booth during the Traverse City Management Briefing Seminars.
According to 2001 NADA data, dealers increased advertising spending by 13 percent, but only realized a 1.6 percent increase in profits. Auto4Customers was developed to help even the odds. Experian partnered with Pal Graphics, Inc. to provide a Web-based marketing tool helping dealers retain current customers, build loyalty and target prospective customers.
Operating within the limits of the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act, Experian INSOURCE™ Customer Database, comprised of more than 215 million consumers in 110 million households nationwide, and lifestyle information enhances marketing information and improves campaign effectiveness. Each customer record is evaluated based on actual purchase behavior to better target those customers providing the greatest return on marketing dollars. Reports can also be developed to target prospective customers.

Auto4Customers has the ability to incorporate customer service and sales transactional information and delete duplication, creating an accurate message to the right customer the first time. Dealership, lease and finance company names are also suppressed and internal repair orders are flagged. All records are verified and corrected by National Change of Address (NCOA) processing and are Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) certified, resulting in a clean, accurate and highly deliverable marketing information warehouse.
The service allows for the selection of numerous options, offering standard or customized templates for projects ranging from direct marketing pieces to customer call manuscripts. Edits and last-minute changes can be completed online, making the customization of marketing campaigns easy.
